Ну и конечно, основной вопрос – насколько геймплей The Division будет отличаться от геймплея других action/adventure Ubisoft – Assasin’s Creed и Far Cry.

Когда авторы игровой серии, в которой вышло уже пять больших проектов, выбирают для очередной части название, состоящее из одного слова, это должно говорить о перезапуске серии. Тем не менее, создатели Hitman утверждают, что это не перезапуск, а новое начало для агента 47. Кроме того, разработчики обещают уровни в 6-7 раз обширней, чем в Hitman: Absolution, до 300 неигровых персонажей в каждой миссии, плюс возможность сохраняться in some moment. Кто-то назовет последний пункт предательством идеалов Hitman, мы же дождемся выхода игры, а потом будем делать выводы.

Еще одна игра, возвращающаяся к простому названию. Четвертая часть DOOM называется просто DOOM, и в разрабатывающей ее id Software не осталось никого, кто работал над первой игрой серии. DOOM без Кармаков, Ромеро, Холла, Холленсхеда… это даже интересно. Разработка проекта, еще под названием DOOM 4, началась в 2008 г.и шла крайне тяжело. В 2013 г., после ухода из студии Джона Кармака проект отправили на переработку. В итоге сейчас нам обещают олдскульный шутер без укрытий и регенерации здоровья, с кровью, мясом и ураганной стрельбой. Что ж, у MachineGames с Wolfenstein: The New Order получилось, посмотрим, что выйдет у новой id Software.

Сиквел Homefront тоже тяжело добирался до игроков. Студия, создавшая первую часть шутера, была закрыта, затем обанкротился и владелец авторских прав THQ. В итоге, в 2013 г. права достались Crytek, но в связи с финансовыми проблемами в 2014 г. они были проданы Koch Media (Deep Silver), в состав которой вошли и разработчики проекта. Новый Homefront: The Revolution – это уже не миссионный шутер, а игра с открытым миром, массой побочных заданий, футуристическими гаджетами, крафтингом, кастомизируемым оружием и ролевой системой. Судя по роликам, выглядит она интересно, вот только в правдивость названных сроков верится с трудом.

Кстати, Фейт теперь не может использовать огнестрельное оружие, но зато освоила дополнительные приемы рукопашного боя. Игра использует движок Frostbite 3.5 и выглядит действительно потрясающе. №1 в списке ожиданий редакции ITC.ua.
