The 30-day push-up challenge has gained popularity all over the world. Evan Zhang, also known as stylist and fashion blogger Your Average Gent, decided to test for himself how effective the workout works and talked about all the changes in the body on his Youtube channel.

Evan Zhang did push-ups 300 times a day for a month and evaluated the productivity of such exercises. At the same time, he is not an athlete and only occasionally works out at the workout area near the house.

The blogger divided 300 push-ups into blocks: 10 sets of 30 exercises.

“You decide how to distribute push-ups. You can do 100 exercises in the morning, afternoon and evening,” Zhang explained.

In the early days, Evan could push out a maximum of 45 times in one approach – there was not enough strength for more. During push-ups, it is important to follow the technique – fully bend and unbend your arms, fix yourself at the final point. And that's where the problems arose.

But after 30 days and 9,000 push-ups, Zhang was able to do 60 push-ups in a row with proper form.
