Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko said that the government "negotiates to show more games of the championship of Russia on federal channels." Now all RPL meetings can be watched on the premium TV channel "Match Premier". Several games of the tour are shown on the free "Match TV".
According to RB-Sport, the leadership of Channel One is ready to support Russian football. The TV channel can change the broadcast schedule and show some RPL games. But the broadcasting rights belong to the holding "Gazprom-Media" ("Match TV"), which at the moment did not offer them to Channel One.
According to our information, the issue of broadcasting matches for the rest of the season is included in the agenda of the general meeting of RPL clubs. The videoconference meeting will take place on June 5.
