At the annual elegance competition Villa d'Este, BMW introduced a conceptual coupe 3.0 CSL Hommage. This model is a modern interpretation of the original sports car 3.0 CSL, released in 1972-1975.

The CSL abbreviation is decrypted as Coupé Sport Leichtbau – "Lightweight Sports Coupe." Like a model of forty years ago, created on the basis of the Civic BMW New Six CS to participate in the European Body Championship ETCC, the new show car is emphasized by the driver. It is built of lightweight materials and has extremely stingy equipment – all in the name of the best speakers. BMW 3.0 CSL HOMMAGE received carbon kit, laser and LED optics and 21-inch alloy wheels. The cabin has two sports seats with six-dimensional safety belts, a unique steering wheel, alloy pedals, carbon safety frame and fire extinguishing system.

Specifications The automaker did not disclose, saying only that the concept has received a powerful row six-power steer. The serial production of speech does not go, but BMW bosses emphasize: Hommage ruler cars are not only a tribute to the heritage of the Bavarian brand, but also a demonstration of how the achievements of the past may affect development in the future.
